I started Willie Mae’s Kitchen in 2020, but the heart of this business began decades ago in Alabama. Growing up as an Army brat, I moved through boxes and new neighborhoods. Amid all that change, the kitchen became my constant anchor, the place where "home" truly lived. 

My deepest inspiration comes from my great-grandmother, Willie Mae Smith. She sparked my love for cooking, showing me how simple ingredients could bring people together, spark laughter, and comfort the soul. Willie Mae’s Kitchen is my tribute to her, and every dish I make is infused with that same timeless love.
